Hello! My name is Borys.
My birth was a great joy for my family - I was the symbol of our bloodline and the continuation of life itself. A long-awaited son!
But I never even got the chance to reach adulthood or begin my own life - Russia killed me.
What can I tell you about myself so that we can get to know each other better?
When I was little, I loved toy cars. I was drawn to big vehicles, especially tractors. As I grew older, I started collecting model cars. I happily went to kindergarten, played with other kids, and brought home the crafts I made.
As a teenager, I loved sculpting with clay, weaving bracelets, and could spend hours drawing. Outside, I enjoyed playing football, but definitely - always in defense or attack. I also loved cycling and fishing. Fishing was the one thing that could make me wake up before dawn.
I celebrated my 13th birthday in a basement, under the sounds of explosions from Russian shelling. After that, my family and I had to leave our hometown for a while. Still, I longed to return home. And finally, I did in 2023. I eagerly reconnected with my friends and went for walks around Kharkiv. I set a goal for myself: to build strong muscles, because I was already a young man! I tried to eat healthy and enjoyed cooking food myself.
My death became an irreparable loss for my entire family. My loved ones still hope to hear my voice again, but the silence only deepens their pain…
