Hello everyone! My name is Sofiia, and I’m from the town of Kupiansk.
Because of the shelling, my mother, my little sister, and I moved to Kharkiv. On August 30, I dressed all in white because I wanted to take photos with my friend. But an aerial bomb struck near the playground…
I attended an art club and loved making paper crafts. I enjoyed going to school, where I had many friends. I was good at math and history, and I played basketball and volleyball.
As I grew older, I became fascinated by anime and loved redrawing some scenes. In my free time, I trained my little dog that my parents gifted me and made videos for social media.
In the summer, my family and I went fishing and visited friends. I helped my mother take care of my younger sister. For family birthdays, I would write poems and recite them solemnly.
I wanted to become a psychologist in the future. Why? Because I loved listening to people and I was good at it. It truly made me happy.
Shortly before the tragedy, I had started dating a boy. We dreamed that after finishing school, we would move to France to live in a small apartment and have a black-and-white puppy.
It has been unbearably hard for my loved ones since my death. Recently, a monument was placed on my grave. My mother spent a long time choosing the words for the epitaph. She wanted those lines to hold all her love for me and all her pain from losing me.
